About: The Harrow is created in the tradition of Southern Gothic/Noir films. It is a psychological thriller crime tale and an exploration of the criminal mind, told from the perspective of the perpetrator; it is a story of passion, betrayal and violence.
Plot: The Harrow’s protagonist, Miller Lee, lives in utter self-imposed solitary confinement in an abandoned century-old Alabama slaughterhouse. His only company is Gale, a young runaway and Miller’s lover in his youth, who was murdered a decade ago. He restores furniture, while his sanity disintegrates until Ruth, age 19, arrives, desperate to discover the truth about her mother’s death. Ruth stays with Miller for three nights, and together they piece together the fragments of his shattered memory only to discover Miller’s role in Gale’s death.
